Georgia Medicare Assistance Programs
Medicaid is available for Georgia residents, which is a state funded program that helps low-income Medicare enrollees pay for out of pocket and other associated health care costs.
The Department of Health and Human Services offers a program called GeorgiaCares, which provides counseling services and other information regarding Medicare benefits in Georgia. Georgia also has various Medicare Savings Plans, Low Income Subsidy and patient assistance programs to help Medicare enrollees with various health care needs and their related expenses.
