Idaho Medicare Assistance Programs
Idaho offers numerous Medicare assistance programs to qualified individuals who need help covering the rising costs of their health care. The Indigent Assistance Program is a state funded program for low-income Medicare recipients in Idaho that can help with out-of-pocket expenses, residential care or assisted living services for those in need and cannot afford them. As well as Medicaid benefits to Idaho residents who meet eligibility requirements.
The Senior Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) is the official State Health Insurance Program, or SHIP, which counsels Medicare beneficiaries with unbiased Medicare information and helps them to make decisions regarding their health care.
