Michigan Medicare Assistance Programs

The BlueCaid of Michigan is the state funded Medicaid program, which is open to all eligible low-income Medicare beneficiaries. This program can help pay for out-of-pocket costs incurred by ongoing health care needs.

MiRx Prescription Saving Program is a government-run assistance program that helps low-income Medicare enrollees with out-of-pocket prescription drug costs.

Michigan also has a State Health Insurance Program called MMAP that is run by the state’s Department of Services to the Aging. They offer Medicare recipients counseling services and information regarding the various Medicare plans and assistance programs that may be available to them as residents of Michigan.
