Montana Medicare Assistance Programs

Montana’s Medicaid program, also called PASSPORT to Health, is a state funded program that helps eligible Medicare enrollees to pay their medical expenses.

Montana also offers the Big Sky Rx Program, which helps eligible Medicare enrollees to pay out-of-pocket prescription drug costs. Additionally Montana offers SHIP, or the State Health Insurance Program, another state funded program that offers counseling and information to Medicare recipients about the programs available to them.
