Ohio Medicare Assistance Programs
Ohio’s Best Rx program is a government funded prescription drug program that can help low-income Medicare recipients pay for drug costs that are out-of-pocket.
The Bureau of Long Term Care Facilities can help Medicare enrollees in need of residence or assistance help in finding care. Also the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP) is funded and run by the Ohio Department of Insurance and provides counseling for Medicare eligible residents about the various Medicare plans and other assistance available to them.
