Utah Medicare Assistance Programs

Utah’s Medicaid program is provided by the Medical Department of Workforce Services (DWS) and funded by the state of Utah. This program helps eligible Medicare recipients with medical expenses.

Consumers can utilize the Utah's Premium Partnership for Health Insurance, which is a program for eligible Medicare recipients to help lower medical costs. Additionally, Utah offers a prescription drug pharmacy benefits plan to help cover out-of-pocket costs.

Utah also has the Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIP) program. This program provides Medicare beneficiaries with counseling services and education on the various Medicare programs in Utah.
