Medicare Parts A & B is a federally-run Medicare coverage program that covers Medicare basics, like medical and hospital services. It is separated into two different parts: Part A and Part B. You must have both Parts A & B to move forward with additional Medicare coverage options.
Around your 65th birthday, you will be automatically enrolled in Medicare Part A. To get Medicare Part B, you must call your local Social Security office and actively enroll.
This is a federally-run Medicare coverage program that covers various types of hospital services and procedures. There is usually no premium required for Medicare Part A.
