Great American Medicare Supplement Plans
Here is some basic information on Medicare Supplement plans:
- Plan A and Plan B
- Plan A covers hospitalization and health care expenses. Plan B provides the same benefits but also covers for the Medicare Part A deductible as well.
- Plan C
- Plan C provides the coverage in Plan A and B, but also covers services in the Part B deductible for nursing care or emergency visits out of the United States.
- Plan F
- Plan F provides basic benefits plus coverage for Medicare Part A and Part B deductibles. There is also a high-deductible plan available through Plan F to help lower monthly premiums.
- Plan G
- Medicare Supplement Plan G will cover everything that Plan A covers plus skilled nursing facility care coinsurance rates, Medicare Part A deductible, at home recovery, a percentage of Medicare Part B excess charges and emergency care outside of the United States.
- Plan J
- Plan J covers everything in Plan G plus the Medicare Part B deductible. Also preventive care that is not covered by Medicare will be provided with this supplemental plan.
